Letter from Dr Avionne Hill

Washingtonian Top Dentist Since 2013

When choosing a Pediatric Dentist parents are seeking a doctor that they can trust to provide gentle care in a safe environment for their child.

After practicing Pediatric Dentistry for 15 years I have been able to focus my practice on educational resources and procedures that allow me to provide the best in dental care to all of my patients.

The pediatric dental care that I provide is personalized and that has made all the difference.

You can trust that I will thoroughly explain the need for treatment and provide you with excellence from your child’s first dental visit. I believe in preventative dental care. For example, the age one dental visit. This visit has allowed parents in my practice to see that cavities really can be avoided. I have also seen dental sealants placed on teeth prevent cavities in children. It is rewarding when families see the difference that sealants have made in cavity prevention as their child grows. My goal is to work alongside your family to prevent cavities but if your child does present with a cavity I take personal interest in allaying any fears you may have about that treatment visit and I will perform that treatment in a safe and stress free manner for both you and your child. I have been able to do this for many years and my goal is to ensure that you are pleased in the manner in which treatment is performed.

Most importantly my personal philosophy is Personalized Prevention. If I can prevent a cavity in your child and If I can prevent your child from needing major dental treatment via sedation or in a hospital setting I have made a difference. I believe dental care does not have to be traumatizing. It can be fun and your child can and will have a great experience at the dentist.
